RACQ LifeFlight Rescue airlifts teen after car into motorbike

The Toowoomba-based RACQ LifeFlight Rescue chopper has flown a teenager to hospital, after his motorbike collided with a car, north-east of Gatton.

The rescue chopper was called into action just before 4 o’clock this afternoon and landed in a paddock, near the crash scene.

The Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) Flight Paramedic and LifeFlight Critical Care Doctor assisted QAS paramedics in treating and stabilising the patient.

The teenager was airlifted to the Princess Alexandra Hospital, with a shoulder injury.
