The Toowoomba-based RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter crew has airlifted a man to hospital after he was injured when his motorcycle crashed.

The incident happened this afternoon (Sun 24th) at a private property in the Toowoomba region.

The pilot landed the aircraft on a road on the property, near the incident scene, just after midday.

The LifeFlight aeromedical team worked alongside Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) paramedics to treat the man for chest, abdominal and arm injuries.

He was loaded into the QAS vehicle and driven to the helicopter. 

Queensland Fire and Rescue Service was also at the scene.

The man, aged in his 50s, was flown to Princess Alexandra hospital in a serious but stable condition.
