RACQ LifeFlight Rescue airlifts man injured during truck rollover

A man has been flown to hospital, after the truck he was driving reportedly veered off the road and rolled down an embankment, south west of Bundaberg this afternoon.

The Brisbane-based RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter was sent to the scene, just before 3:30pm.

The pilot was able to land the chopper on a stretch of road, near the accident.

The aeromedical crew worked alongside paramedics from the Queensland Ambulance Service to treat the man, aged in his forties, for suspected internal injuries.

He was transported to Bundaberg Hospital, in a stable condition.
