RACQ LifeFlight Rescue airlifts man after pig truck rollover

The Toowoomba-based RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter has airlifted an injured man to hospital, after a truck rollover, this morning.

It’s believed the man was travelling along a road, north-west of Goondiwindi, when he lost control and crashed.

The vehicle had reportedly been transporting pigs, in the rear.

The rescue chopper was sent to the scene around 8am.

The RACQ LifeFlight Rescue aeromedical crew worked alongside paramedics from the Queensland Ambulance Service to treat the man, aged in his forties, for multiple injuries.

He was transported to Toowoomba Hospital in a stable condition.
