The Sunshine Coast-based RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter crew has flown a man to hospital, after he was injured in a farming incident in the Gympie Region.
The man, who is aged in his 30s, was reportedly using an excavator on his property, when the accident occurred, causing him leg injuries.
The rescue chopper was called to the private property just before 4.30pm (Saturday, 1st April).
The chopper pilot landed the aircraft at the scene, where the RACQ LifeFlight Rescue Critical Care Doctor and Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) Flight Paramedic met with local QAS paramedics to treat the patient.
He was flown in a stable condition to the Sunshine Coast University Hospital for further treatment.
