The Toowoomba-based LifeFlight aeromedical crew today airlifted two men in separate missions, including a motorcycle incident and a man injured by two bulls.
In the first mission, the LifeFlight helicopter was tasked at 8.19am by Retrieval Services Queensland and landed on an oval near Crows Nest.
The critical care LifeFlight doctor and Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) flight paramedic worked with local QAS paramedics to treat the motorcycle patient for significant head trauma and body lacerations.
The man, in his 20s, was airlifted to Toowoomba Hospital in a stable condition.
The LifeFlight crew was then tasked at 9.58am to a private property north of Dalby and landed in a paddock after a man was injured by two fighting bulls.
The critical care doctor and QAS flight paramedic worked alongside local paramedics to treat the man for a minor head injury.
The man, in his 70s, was airlifted to Toowoomba Hospital for further treatment in a stable condition.
