LifeFlight airlifts woman after quadbike rollover

The LifeFlight Sunshine Coast-based aeromedical crew last night airlifted a woman to hospital after a quadbike rollover.

The rescue helicopter was tasked to a private property in the South Burnett region near the town of Murgon at 5.51pm.

The LifeFlight critical care doctor and Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) flight paramedic worked with local paramedics to treat the woman on scene for head and shoulder injuries.

The patient, aged in her 40s, was airlifted to Sunshine Coast University Hospital in a stable condition.
