The Sunshine Coast-based LifeFlight aeromedical crew today airlifted a woman to hospital after a dog bite in the Gympie region.
The LifeFlight helicopter was tasked at 11.17am by Retrieval Services Queensland and landed at the Archery Park helipad.
Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) paramedics treated the woman for arm and head injuries on scene before she was road transported to the LifeFlight helicopter in Gympie.
The woman, aged in her 50s, was airlifted to Sunshine Coast University Hospital in a stable condition for further treatment.
