LifeFlight airlifts teenager after propeller injury

The Bundaberg LifeFlight aeromedical crew airlifted a teenage girl to hospital today after a boating incident.

The aeromedical team was tasked to K’Gari at 10.56am.

The helicopter landed on the beach and the LifeFlight critical care doctor and QAS paramedic treated the girl for lacerations after a suspected propeller incident.

She was airlifted to Hervey Bay Hospital in a stable condition.

The Bundaberg-based LifeFlight helicopter and crew service the Wide Bay-Burnett region and beyond.
