LifeFlight airlifts man after motorbike incident

The Toowoomba-based LifeFlight aeromedical team today airlifted a man to hospital after a motorbike crash near Dalby.

The LifeFlight helicopter was tasked at 12.09pm by Retrieval Services Queensland and landed in a paddock near the patient.

The critical care LifeFlight doctor and Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) flight paramedic worked with local QAS paramedics to treat the patient for suspected spinal injuries.

The man, in his 20s, was airlifted to Toowoomba Hospital in a stable condition for further treatment.
