The LifeFlight Brisbane-based aeromedical crew airlifted a girl to hospital yesterday after a tubing incident in the Scenic Rim.
It’s believed she was sliding on a tube on a downhill slip and slide when she fell.
The LifeFlight crew landed the helicopter in a paddock close to the incident.
Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) paramedics worked with the LifeFlight critical care doctor and QAS flight paramedic to treat the girl for a fractured leg.
She was flown to Queensland Children’s Hospital in a stable condition.
LifeFlight is proud to operate from Brisbane Airport, connecting more Queenslanders to major hospitals and 24/7 life-saving medical care.
