The Bundaberg-based LifeFlight aeromedical crew today airlifted a young girl to hospital following a single vehicle car crash in the North Burnett region.
The helicopter was tasked at 8.35am and landed on a road near the incident in Deep Creek.
LifeFlight was met on scene by the Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS), Queensland Fire Department (QFD), and Queensland Police Service (QPS).
Six patients were treated on scene, including two adults and four children.
A primary school-aged girl was treated by local QAS paramedics together with the LifeFlight critical care doctor and QAS flight paramedic for a broken collarbone and suspected upper arm fracture.
She was airlifted to Bundaberg Hospital for further treatment.
