LifeFlight airlift elderly man after buggy rollover

The Toowoomba-based LifeFlight aeromedical crew today airlifted an elderly man to hospital following a buggy rollover.

The chopper was tasked to a private property in the Somerset region at 12.40pm.

The LifeFlight critical care doctor and Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) flight paramedic worked with local QAS paramedics to treat the patient for head and back injuries.

The man, aged in his 70s, was airlifted to Princess Alexandra Hospital in a stable condition.
