RACQ LifeFlight Rescue airlifts injured horse rider

The Mount Isa RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter has airlifted a woman to hospital, after she fell from a horse while mustering cattle, earlier today.

The aeromedical team was called to the private property, north of Mount Isa, shortly before 3pm.

The woman, aged in her twenties, suffered head and back injuries and was flown in a stable condition to Mount Isa Hospital.
