The Toowoomba-based LifeFlight aeromedical crew airlifted a teenager to hospital today after an ATV (all-terrain vehicle) rollover.
It’s believed the male teen was driving the ATV on a private property in the South Burnett region when he lost control of the vehicle and it rolled.
Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) paramedics treated the patient at the property before travelling to the LifeFlight helicopter, which was tasked at 1.30pm, and landed at a cricket oval near the incident scene.
The LifeFlight critical care doctor and QAS flight paramedic treated the boy for a broken arm and suspected head and pelvic injuries.
He was airlifted to Queensland Children’s Hospital in a stable condition.
