LifeFlight airlifts man after motorcycle crash

The Brisbane-based LifeFlight aeromedical crew today airlifted a man after the motorcycle he was riding crashed in the Scenic Rim.

The LifeFlight helicopter was tasked to the single vehicle incident at Lake Moogerah at 12.30pm and landed on the road close to the scene.

Local Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) paramedics treated the man, aged in his 70s, for chest and spinal injuries.

The LifeFlight critical care doctor and QAS flight paramedic further treated the patient before airlifting him to the Princess Alexandra Hospital in a stable condition.
