Injured man airlifted after quad bike rollover

The Brisbane-based RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter has airlifted a man to hospital, after a quad bike rollover in the Scenic Rim region.

The aircraft was tasked to a private property around 9.30 this morning.

The RACQ LifeFlight Rescue Critical Care Doctor and Flight Nurse worked with local Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) paramedics to treat the patient for chest and limb injuries.

The man, aged in his 50s, was flown to the Gold Coast University Hospital, in a stable condition.
