The Sunshine Coast-based LifeFlight aeromedical crew this morning airlifted a man to hospital after a ute and truck crash on the Burnett Highway near Nanango.
The LifeFlight helicopter was tasked at 6.45am and landed on the road near the scene.
In a multi-agency response, the incident was attended by Queensland Police Service (QPS) officers and Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) paramedics.
The critical care LifeFlight doctor and QAS flight paramedic worked with local QAS paramedics to treat the male patient for upper body injuries.
The man, in his 30s, was airlifted to Sunshine Coast University Hospital for further treatment.
The mission was one of two crashes attended by the Sunshine Coast crew.
Last night they were tasked to an all-terrain vehicle crash east of Gympie at 6.33pm and landed at a private property near the scene.
The critical care LifeFlight doctor and QAS flight paramedic worked with local QAS paramedics to treat the male patient in his young teens for a suspected femur fracture.
He was flown to Sunshine Coast University Hospital for further treatment.
