The Roma-based LifeFlight Surat Gas Aeromedical Service (SGAS) crew today airlifted a man to hospital after he fell out of a moving all-terrain vehicle (ATV).
The LifeFlight helicopter was tasked at 9am by Retrieval Services Queensland and landed at a nearby property in Toobeah.
The critical care LifeFlight doctor and Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) flight paramedic worked with local QAS paramedics to treat the patient for suspected pelvic injuries.
The man, aged in his 40s, was airlifted to Toowoomba Hospital in a stable condition.
The LifeFlight SGAS helicopter and crew performed this mission as part of the SGAS partners’ commitment to providing community aeromedical coverage.
