The Bundaberg-based LifeFlight aeromedical crew today airlifted a man to hospital after a horse incident at Mundowran in the North Burnett region.
The LifeFlight helicopter was tasked at 11:14am by Retrieval Services Queensland and landed at a private property.
The critical care LifeFlight doctor and Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) flight paramedic worked with local QAS paramedics to treat the patient for spinal and leg injuries.
The helicopter airlifted the patient to the LifeFlight Bundaberg base.
The patient, aged in his 30s, was transported by road by QAS to Bundaberg Hospital in a stable condition for further treatment.
