The Toowoomba-based LifeFlight aeromedical crew today airlifted a man after a paragliding crash at Mt Barney.
The LifeFlight helicopter was tasked at 11.55am by Retrieval Services Queensland and landed in a clearing where they met Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) paramedics with the patient.
The critical care LifeFlight doctor and QAS flight paramedic worked with local QAS paramedics to treat the patient for a shoulder injury.
The man, in his 20s, was airlifted to Princess Alexandra Hospital in a stable condition.
