The Toowoomba-based LifeFlight aeromedical crew today airlifted an injured man after he fell from a ladder.
The helicopter was tasked by Retrieval Services Queensland at 4.35pm to a rural town near Blackbutt in the South Burnett region, landing at the local showgrounds.
Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) paramedics transported the patient by road to the helicopter.
The critical care LifeFlight doctor and QAS flight paramedic worked with local QAS paramedics to treat the man for wrist and shoulder injuries.
The patient, in his 60s, was airlifted to Toowoomba Hospital for further treatment.
