LifeFlight airlifts two patients in separate Moreton Island missions 

The Brisbane-based LifeFlight aeromedical crew today airlifted two patients in separate Moreton Island medical emergencies.

The LifeFlight helicopter was tasked by Retrieval Services Queensland for both missions.

The first tasking at 11.51am was for a teenage girl who nearly drowned while snorkelling with her family.

She was flown to Princess Alexandra Hospital in a stable condition.

The second tasking at 1.22pm was for a man in his 40s who injured his leg and chest on a jet ski.

He was flown to Princess Alexandra Hospital in a stable condition.
