LifeFlight airlifts toddler to hospital 

The Roma-based LifeFlight Surat Gas Aeromedical Service (SGAS) aeromedical crew today airlifted a toddler to hospital from the Maranoa region.

The LifeFlight helicopter was tasked by Retrieval Services Queensland at 10am to a rural property and landed near a homestead.

The critical care LifeFlight doctor and flight paramedic worked with local Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) paramedics to treat the patient for a medical condition.

She was airlifted with her mother to Roma Hospital in a stable condition.

The LifeFlight SGAS helicopter and crew performed this mission as part of the SGAS partners’ commitment to providing community aeromedical coverage.
