Chopper airlifts teenage girl after motorbike incident

The Mt Isa-based RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter crew airlifted a teenage girl to hospital this afternoon, after she crashed her motorbike while mustering.

The rescue chopper was tasked to the Mt Isa region at around 4:30pm.

The aeromedical crew worked with local Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) paramedics to treat the patient for a suspected shoulder injury.

She was airlifted to Mt Isa Hospital for further treatment.
