The Bundaberg-based RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter has flown a woman to hospital, after a truck and car accident, this afternoon.

The rescue helicopter was sent to the scene, north of Bundaberg, around 1.40pm.

The pilot landed the chopper in a nearby clearing.

The Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) Flight Paramedic worked with QAS paramedics, who were at the scene, to treat the woman and transfer her into the helicopter.

She was then flown to Bundaberg Hospital, in a stable condition.
