The Brisbane-based RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter has airlifted an injured man to hospital, after the lawn mower he was using rolled, crushing him underneath.
It’s believed man’s wife, used a car to pull the mower off him.
The rescue chopper was called to the scene, in the Scenic Rim region, shortly after 3pm, where the pilot was able to land the aircraft nearby.
The aeromedical crew worked alongside paramedics from the Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) to stabilise the man for his flight to hospital.
He suffered suspected chest and abdominal injuries and was flown in a stable condition to the Princess Alexandra Hospital.
