RACQ LifeFlight Rescue airlifts woman after single vehicle rollover

A woman is recovering in hospital, after was injured when the car she was travelling in rolled down an embankment and landed on its roof, this morning.

The Toowoomba-based RACQ LifeFlight Rescue chopper was sent to the scene, in the South Burnett region, shortly after 7 o’clock, where the pilot was able to land the aircraft nearby.

The aeromedical team worked alongside paramedics from the Queensland Ambulance Sevice (QAS), to stabilise the woman, aged in her twenties.

She was flown to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital for further treatment.
