The Sunshine Coast-based RACQ LifeFlight Rescue crew has airlifted a toddler to hospital, after she ingested a fast-acting glue.
The aeromedical team was tasked to the Gympie region, just after 11am.
It’s believed the girl had been chewing on the glue tube when it split in her mouth.
Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) paramedics initially treated the patient, before transporting her to a nearby oval where the rescue helicopter landed.
The girl was then airlifted to the Sunshine Coast University Hospital, for further assessment.
She was in a stable condition and her mother escorted her in the aircraft.
