Teenager airlifted after motocross accident

The Toowoomba RACQ LifeFlight Rescue crew has airlifted an injured teenager, after he came off his motorbike, while riding on a motocross track, this afternoon (Sunday 24 October).  

The aeromedical helicopter flew to the scene, in the South Burnett, around 2.20pm.

The RACQ LifeFlight Rescue Critical Care Doctor and Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) paramedics worked together to treat the boy for chest injuries. 

He was loaded into the aircraft and flown to Toowoomba Hospital, in a stable condition.
