RACQ LifeFlight Rescue airlifts toddler to Bundaberg Hospital with snake bite

The Bundaberg-based RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter crew has airlifted a toddler to hospital after she was bitten by a snake.

The crew was tasked to the North Burnett Region at around 8am.

Her mother was alerted after hearing the girl scream in the backyard. She noticed a puncture wound on the girl’s left foot.

She was transported to Bundaberg Hospital in a stable condition, accompanied by her father. 

The Bundaberg-based RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter and crew service the Wide Bay-Burnett region and beyond.
