A man has been flown to hospital, after he suffered a significant head injury, at a property north west of Toowoomba, earlier today.
It’s believed he was hit on the head by a gate, at a cattle feedlot, when the animals were released.
The Toowoomba RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter was sent to the scene shortly after 12pm, where the pilot was able to land the aircraft nearby.
The aeromedical team worked alongside paramedics from the Queensland Ambulance Service to stabilise the man, aged in his fifties, for his flight to hospital.
He was transported in a stable condition to Toowoomba Hospital.
