RACQ LifeFlight Rescue airlifts injured toddler

A toddler has been airlifted to hospital in a critical condition, following a reported car rollover in the Sunshine Coast region earlier this evening (Weds 29th Nov).

The little boy suffered multiple injuries in the single vehicle crash which happened on a major road.

He was first treated at the scene by Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) officers who determined he needed urgent medical treatment in Brisbane.

The child was transported to the waiting rescue chopper and flown to the Queensland Children’s Hospital under the care of the RACQ LifeFlight Rescue Critical Care doctor and QAS Flight Paramedic.
