RACQ LifeFlight Rescue airlifts man injured in motocross accident

The Sunshine Coast-based RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter has airlifted a man to hospital, after a motocross accident this afternoon (Saturday 13th June).

The rescue chopper was sent to the scene, just after 2 o’clock.

It’s believed the rider had been attempting a flip, on his motorbike, when he fell heavily.

The patient, aged in his 20s, was treated by the RACQ LifeFlight Rescue aeromedical team and Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) paramedics.

He was airlifted to the Sunshine Coast University Hospital with upper body injuries, in a stable condition.
