Family injured, and airlifted after car rollover

A mother, aged in her thirties, and her two young children are recovering in hospital after they were injured in a car rollover, earlier this evening.

It’s believed the mother was driving around a bend when she lost control and crashed.

The Toowoomba based RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter received the call for the mission shortly before 6pm.

Once on scene, the aeromedical team assisted the Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) paramedics, in treating the three patients.

Both the mother and her daughter suffered possible internal injuries and were airlifted to Toowoomba Hospital in a stable condition.

The young boy suffered minor injuries and was transported by QAS to Toowoomba Hospital.
