Toowoomba’s RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter has airlifted a teenage girl to a Brisbane hospital, after she fell from a horse, this afternoon.
The rescue chopper was called to the South Burnett region, at 3 o’clock.
It’s believed the girl had been riding a horse, on a private property, when she fell, suffering head injuries.
Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) paramedics transported the patient to a nearby school oval, to meet the RACQ LifeFlight Rescue crew.
She was stabilised, before being flown to Queensland Children’s Hospital, in a critical condition.
The girl’s mother travelled in the helicopter, as an escort.
