Toowoomba’s RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter has airlifted a man to hospital, after he was crushed by a bovine this morning.
The rescue chopper was called to a feedlot, west of Toowoomba, just after 9am.
It’s believed he had been moving animals into a holding pen, when he was crushed by a mature beast.
A registered nurse assisted the patient, before the RACQ LifeFlight Rescue aeromedical team and Queensland Amulance Service (QAS) paramedics arrived.
The man, aged in his twenties, was flown to Princess Alexandra Hospital, in a stable condition, with lower body injuries.
