A teenage boy has survived a high speed crash, south west of Bundaberg.
It’s believed he had been riding with family, when he lost control and crashed into a tree.
The Bundaberg RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter was sent to the scene around 1:30 this afternoon.
The aeromedical crew worked alongside Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) paramedics to treat the teenager for multiple injuries.
He was airlifted to the Queensland Children’s Hospital in a serious but stable condition.
Meanwhile, the Brisbane RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter was also sent to airlift an injured motorbike rider, from the Southern Downs region.
It’s believed the young rider had fallen over the handlebars of his bike, suffering suspected spinal injuries.
The aeromedical team met the Queensland Ambulance Service at Stanthorpe Airport, to transfer him through to the Queensland Children’s Hospital.
He traveled in a stable condition.
