Man seriously injured after jet ski accident

The Toowoomba-based RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter crew has airlifted a man to hospital, after a jet ski incident this afternoon (Saturday 14th Oct).

The rescue crew was activated to rendezvous with a Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) crew at a nearby hospital helipad in the Goondiwindi region.

A male patient aged in his 40s, had suffered serious head and neck injuries whilst jet skiing in a local dam.

The patient was airlifted to the Princess Alexandra Hospital in a serious condition.
