LifeFlight airlifts woman after vehicle roll-over

The Toowoomba-based LifeFlight aeromedical crew today airlifted an elderly woman to hospital after a single vehicle roll-over.

The LifeFlight helicopter was tasked at 11.50am to the Toowoomba region where the crew landed on the road close to the incident.

It’s believed a vehicle carrying two occupants rolled before coming to a halt against a fence.

The LifeFlight critical care doctor and Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) flight paramedic worked alongside local QAS paramedics to treat the passenger, aged in her 80s, for shoulder injuries.

She was airlifted to Toowoomba Hospital for further treatment.
