LifeFlight airlifts man after tractor rollover

The LifeFlight Bundaberg-based aeromedical crew today airlifted a man after his tractor rolled over an embankment.

The rescue helicopter was tasked by Retrieval Services Queensland (RSQ) to Miriam Vale in the Gladstone region at 1pm.

The crew was able to land the chopper in a clearing near the incident.

Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) paramedics worked alongside the LifeFlight critical care paramedic to treat the patient for chest, shoulder and back injuries.

The man, aged in his 60s, was airlifted to Bundaberg Hospital in a stable condition.

The Bundaberg-based LifeFlight helicopter and crew service the Wide Bay-Burnett region and beyond.
