LifeFlight airlifts man after tractor incident

The Sunshine Coast-based aeromedical crew today airlifted a man to hospital, after he was injured in a tractor incident.

The rescue helicopter was tasked to the Fraser Coast region at 12pm and landed at a private property near the scene.

The man, aged in his 50s, was treated by the LifeFlight critical care doctor and Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) flight paramedic for multiple injuries.

He was airlifted to Sunshine Coast University Hospital with abdominal and pelvic injuries.
