LifeFlight airlifts man after tractor accident

The Toowoomba-based LifeFlight aeromedical crew today airlifted a man after a tractor accident in the Somerset region.

The LifeFlight crew was called out after the tractor collided with a tree on a private property after 4pm.

The man in his 70s was treated on scene by Queensland Ambulance Service paramedics (QAS) and the LifeFlight critical care doctor for minor head and pelvic injuries.

He was taken to Princess Alexandra Hospital in a stable condition.
