LifeFlight airlifts man after quad bike rollover 

The Toowoomba-based LifeFlight aeromedical crew airlifted a man to hospital today after a quad bike rollover in Blackswamp, northwest of Chinchilla.

The LifeFlight helicopter was tasked at 2pm by Retrieval Services Queensland and landed on a private property near the scene.

The critical care LifeFlight doctor and Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) flight paramedic worked with local QAS paramedics to treat the man for head and leg injuries.

The patient, in his 70s, was airlifted to Toowoomba Hospital in a stable condition.
