Man airlifted after single vehicle rollover

The Mount Isa-based RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter has airlifted a man, aged in twenties, after he was injured in a single vehicle rollover.

The aeromedical crew were sent to the scene, in the Cloncurry region, around 9 o’clock last night (1st November).

All emergency services were on scene, and closed the road for the rescue helicopter to land.

The local Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) paramedic and QAS Flight Paramedic treated him for arm and leg injuries.

He was airlifted to the Mount Isa Hospital in a stable condition.
