Sonny’s little life was slipping away...

Sonny’s mum knew something was wrong when the usually lively 22-month-old lost all his energy and appetite. She took him to their local doctor in Dalby, who said “I think Sonny has leukaemia.”

Sonny urgently needed lifesaving chemotherapy. There was only one way of getting him to the Brisbane hospital in time.

It was a mission for RACQ LifeFlight Rescue.

The helicopter arrived at the Brisbane hospital in one hour. Getting to Brisbane by car would have taken three hours—by then it might have been too late.

The better prepared crews are, the faster they can act. Please donate today to help us carry on lifesaving missions like these!

Did you know each rescue mission costs more than $12,500? The fuel required to power a rescue helicopter is a large but vital investment. A donation of $230 is enough to fuel an @RACQ_LifeFlight Rescue chopper for approximately 100km. Help us fly in July: https://t.co/DeFJmjxiXt https://t.co/ulcoWJtMup
