The Bundaberg-based LifeFlight aeromedical crew today airlifted a man after he fell from a ladder in the Fraser Coast Region.
The LifeFlight helicopter, including a specialist aeromedical team, was tasked to an Aramara property at 11.40am by Retrieval Services Queensland.
The helicopter landed on the man’s property where a LifeFlight doctor and Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) flight paramedic worked with local paramedics to treat him for suspected head and chest injuries.
The man, in his 60s, was airlifted to the LifeFlight Bundaberg base and road transported by QAS paramedics to Bundaberg Hospital in a stable condition.
The Bundaberg-based LifeFlight helicopter and crew service the Wide Bay-Burnett region and beyond.
