The Bundaberg-based LifeFlight aeromedical team today airlifted a man to hospital after he was injured while mustering cattle.
The LifeFlight helicopter was tasked at 9.12am by Retrieval Services Queensland to a farm in the North Burnett region and landed in a paddock near the scene.
The critical care LifeFlight doctor and Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) flight paramedic worked with local QAS paramedics to treat the patient for back, facial and chest injuries.
The man, in his 50s, was flown to the Bundaberg LifeFlight base and road transported to Bundaberg Hospital by QAS paramedics.
