LifeFlight airlifts man after tractor rollover

The Sunshine Coast-based LifeFlight aeromedical crew today airlifted a man to hospital after a tractor rollover.

The LifeFlight helicopter was tasked at 2.15pm by Retrieval Services Queensland to a private property near Kenilworth and landed near the scene.

The critical care LifeFlight doctor and Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) flight paramedic worked with local paramedics to treat the patient for suspected head, chest, abdomen and leg injuries.

The patient in his 40s was airlifted to Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital for further treatment.
