The Toowoomba-based LifeFlight aeromedical crew last night airlifted a teenager to hospital after he was injured in a fall.
It is believed he was working on a shed roof near Oakey when he fell five metres and sustained head injuries.
The LifeFlight helicopter was tasked by Retrieval Services Queensland at 4.35pm and Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) transported the patient to the helicopter which landed near the scene.
The critical care LifeFlight doctor and QAS flight paramedic worked with local QAS paramedics to treat the patient for severe injuries.
He was airlifted to Princess Alexandra Hospital in a life-threatening condition.
